At Fox Meadow, we create handmade works of art that celebrates the natural world. We focus on reclaimed or sustainably-harvested wood with character, and our work highlights each piece’s natural beauty.
Fox Meadow got its start when my wife and I were in the process of planning out the interior design of a new home, and we couldn’t find a piece we wanted – a chandelier based on a tree branch – for under a thousand dollars. What was more, the only options we could find were across the country. So we made our own. When we bumped into similar issues trying to find other pieces for the house and decided to make them ourselves, we realized we loved the making, and we began imagining ways we could share our art with others. We saw a family of foxes a number of times while in the process of building the new home, and our last name translates to “Fox” in Dutch. So Fox Meadow was born.
We are based in Denver, though our work is also commonly available in Summit County. Our work is available for in-person viewing by appointment only. You may notice that our shipping prices are high — that’s mainly because we don’t like shipping things.
We also accept orders for custom pieces of lighting and furniture. Get started here.
