This is a bedside table designed to fit my own bedroom. It features a body of reclaimed lumber, mostly fir. The top is a weathered mystery wood that spent some significant time outdoors. It’s heavy, with some red undertones. Ipe maybe? Something somewhat exotic; maybe some other rainforest hardwood. It has a simple sliding drawer for anything you may not want to leave out and about on your bedside, and a lower shelf for novels or other reading material – mystery or otherwise. The drawer pull is a salvaged headset cap from a bike made by the (now-defunct?) Fetish Cycles. Because who doesn’t like a little pun in their bedside furniture?
